My Feelings Journal; Mental Health
This is a mental health resource that is designed to allow people to keep track of how they are feeling through the week. The journal has two pages for each day, one for the morning and one of the evening to reflect on the day. It also contains a self-help page with different coping techniques, a doodle page and a week in summary page. It is plant themed too and is very minimalistic. It is in A4 format so is perfect to add in to a folder for children to either keep in school and to complete during the school day or for care givers to keep at home. This resource was designed to be used for schools but can be used in other settings too.

Worry Balloons- SEMH
An SEMH worksheet to help children work out their worries. It is perfect for children who do not like to talk about their emotions but prefer to write things down.
It is easy to understand and can be used in a classroom setting or for interventions.

This poster is perfect for creating a growth mindset amongst your pupils! Very easy to understand! Gives your pupils phrases to say to promote growth mindset and change from a fixed mindset!

Mental Health Proud Clouds Worksheet
This is a mental health worksheet designed to boost children’s self-esteem. The worksheet is based on the positive psychology research which suggests that boosting positive emotions can improve mental health. The worksheet asks children to write their ‘proud moments’ in the clouds to allow the children to see positives within themselves. It is brightly coloured and is a fun activity to help boost wellbeing. It allows for children to take control of their own mental health and self-reflect on positive past experiences.

Mental Health Poster Coping Techniques
A coping strategy poster with different techniques for different needs. It contains breathing and physical techniques to help when emotions get too overwhelming. It is brightly coloured and has easy step by step guidance to follow for each technique. Mental health is an ever rising issue amongst young people and this poster can be placed around the building to help those who may need it. It is also handy for staff members to have access to, as it gives quick tips on how to calm down young people during times where their emotions become too overwhelming.

Mental Health Poster Anger Coping Techniques
This is a mental health poster designed to show children how to cope when they are feeling angry. The poster is brightly coloured and will grab children’s attention. The poster is very easy to understand and the tips allow for children to regulate their own mood and emotions themselves. It has an anger thermometer featured on it to allow the child to identify how angry they are feeling using the words and numbers. It also has a set of anger rules which include; Do not hurt yourself, Do not hurt other and Do not damage property. This poster will help children to become more resilient and is a fantastic opportunity for children to take control of their own mood and mental health.

Social Skills Friendship Potions Mental health Worksheet
This is a social skills/mental health worksheet that is designed to help children decide what makes a good friend vs what makes a bad friend. The poster features a magical theme with two brightly coloured sheets to work on. The children are asked to write some good or bad friendship qualities in the larger bubbles that are floating out of the potion. This allows children to think for themselves about what they would like in a friend and will help them with their social skills.

My Calming Potion
This is a mental health work sheet for school aged children to complete. The worksheet consists of a plain potion bottle that the children fill in with things that make them feel calm.
After the worksheet has been completed it can be used as a reminder for them when they need to self-regulate.
The worksheet can be used either in a normal lesson or during an SEMH intervention. The worksheet is also suitable for ELSA sessions too!

This is a mental health poster that is designed to show children how to increase the “happy chemicals” in their brain. The poster is brightly coloured and will grab children’s attention. These tips will help children to regulate their own moods and emotions themselves. It has several different tips on how to improve mood such as exercise, getting sunlight and through listening to music. This poster will help children to self regulate and become more resilient and is a fantastic opportunity for children to take control of their own mental health.

Mental Health Worksheet Self-Esteem
This is a mental health worksheet that is designed to educate children on self-esteem. It includes a worksheet that allows the children to analyse their own self-esteem and a fact sheet on self-esteem. The worksheet has spaces for the children to write in their own answers whilst the fact sheet includes key facts about self-esteem and how to boost self-esteem. Self-esteem often contributes to negative mental health an wellbeing, it is therefore important to educate young people on it. This worksheet is a fantastic opportunity for children to take control of their own mental health as it is easy for them to understand and complete by themselves.
Distraction Diary Mental Health SEND
This is a mental health resource designed to help distract people. It can be printed out and put in to a ring binder or stuck into a book which can be carried around.
I use it in a class room setting where pupils become overwhelmed and need a distraction task from anxious thoughts and the need to self-harm.
It contains different activities which are all based on psychological research and mental health coping techniques.
Each page has a different theme and different distraction methods. There are also check in pages where people can check in with themselves.
This distraction diary will allow for children to remain in the classroom for ‘time outs’ and give them the opportunity to distract themselves and take control of their own mental health.

Friendship Forest Activity Worksheets
A set of worksheets aimed at helping children learn about friendship. It is child led and consists of different tasks to teach about the different aspects of friendship.
Easy for children to understand and uses a fun theme!
Communication cards for desk
Leaf/green themed narrow communication cards for students to place on their desk. More discrete as narrower and not brightly coloured.
Great for autistic students, students with communication needs and anxiety.
Need to be cut out and laminated for students to then use when needed.
Students can place the one they need on their desk to signal their needs to the staff.
Mental Health Self-Harm Fact File Free
This is a free mental health poster/fact file that contains information about self-harm. It contains information about why someone may self-harm, useful resources, coping techniques and ways adults can help. It is easy to understand and based on psychological research. The poster/fact file can be used as poster, a self-help sheet or a handout to parents.
